With over 30 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Kalinowska-Szyszka brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for patient care. Dr. Szyszka began her career in Poland, where she completed extensive training and built a strong foundation in general and family dentistry. Since relocating to the United States, Dr. Szyszka has dedicated the past 20 years to serving the dental needs of the Tampa Bay community, providing comprehensive care with a focus on comfort and personalized treatment.
Dr. Szyszka believes in staying at the cutting edge of dental advancements and continuously enhances her skills through ongoing education. Known for a gentle touch and a commitment to patient education, Dr. Szyszka works to make every dental experience a positive one, helping patients achieve and maintain their healthiest smiles.

Agnieszka (Agnes) Kowalewski - Office Manager
Agnes is a highly experienced Office Manager who has worked with Dr. Szyszka for 18 years. Fluent in Polish, Agnes started her career as a Dental Assistant and, through her dedication and hard work, advanced to the role of Office Manager. Her extensive background in both patient care and office operations allows her to manage the day-to-day activities of the practice efficiently while ensuring a positive experience for both patients and staff.
In her role as Office Manager, Agnes oversees a wide range of responsibilities, including scheduling, billing, insurance coordination, and managing the office team. Her organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service have played a key role in the practice’s long-term success and reputation for excellent patient care.
Outside of her professional life, Agnes enjoys a variety of hobbies, including gardening, spending time at the beach, solving puzzles, and line dancing. She also loves to travel and explore new places. Agnes has been happily married to Cezary for 20+ years, and together they have two sons, Matthew and Dominic. The family shares their home with their beloved dog, Zelda, and cat, Nacho.
Agnes’s years of experience, leadership skills, and ability to foster a welcoming, efficient office environment make her a cornerstone of the practice, ensuring that every patient’s experience is smooth and enjoyable.

Krystyna has recently joined our practice with over 20 years of experience in the periodontics field. She also received a license to administer local anesthesia and is an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. She is fluent in Polish and English. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs and loves to walk, bicycle, and kayak.

A "Jersey Girl", Helen began her dental career as a dental assistant after high school. Having a passion for dentistry, Helen earned her Dental Hygiene degree from SPC in 2003. She has 23 years of dedicated hygiene experience. Her compassionate approach to dental care makes each appointment comfortable, personal, and caring. She attends continuing education classes and study groups to obtain the best information to share with her patients and dental team at Blueberry Dental. Helen and her husband Rich have settled in Tarpon Springs after traveling the east coast and Hawaii while he served 27 years in the US Coast Guard. They have two grown and married children and two grandsons. Often, they enjoy spending their free time attending their grandson's travel baseball games. The Schmidt's are also active members of local Jeep groups, planning and attending charity functions. Whenever possible, you can find them together cruising the high seas.
